Throughout the course students will compose and decompose two-and three-dimensional figures. They will also use decomposition to f=determine the perimeter, area, surface area and volume of various figures. They will be able to apply the trigonometric ratios sine, cosine and tangent to solve problems, such as determining lengths and areas in right triangles and in figures that can be decomposed into right triangles. Students will use flow charts to prove triangle similarity and congruence. Scientific calculators are required.
