New Code Academy gives students in grades 9–12 a full-time online school experience with live teaching, personalized support and the flexibility to learn from home. Students stay connected to teachers and classmates while taking more ownership of their learning.

Computer science is a major part of the New Code Academy experience, giving students an advantage that is still uncommon in many high schools. Students can build real skills in technology and problem-solving, with opportunities for advanced coursework as they grow.

That matters because computer science now touches nearly every field—from health care and business to design, engineering, agriculture, communications and the trades. Even students who never pursue a technology career benefit from learning how to think logically, work with data, understand digital systems and solve complex problems.

New Code Academy is a tuition-free public school, and students throughout Minnesota may apply through open enrollment.
